About Atilla Özkan
Till 1987,while he was making folk dance and folk music works at one side,at the other side he learned to play rhythm enstrument and he was also on duty in the performances of EFE-DER as a dancer and musician,as being a member of EFE-DER.Furthermore in this period he worked as a Folk Dance Educator at various schools.Till now in EFE-DER,he continued to his work of accessories production,costume repair and production works which he made in amateur style again in the direction of EFE-DER’s needs and since that time he continued professionally,developed practical methods in production,called attention with his proficiency of having productive result and in a short time he became a costumer,who is demanded by the associations and foundations which makes folk dance works. 
Atilla Özkan,who was on duty in TRT(Turkey Radio and TV Association) as an exceptional compacted rhythm artist between 1989 and 1994,didnt ceased his folk dance works and his job of Costumer already in that period and if the idom is suitable,he represented and contributed to the introduction of Turkey as a Costumer,Dancer,Folk Dance Educator and Musician from The Grat Wall to The Gibraltar. Atilla Özkan,who established his costume and accessories production firm in March 1999,which belongs to him;havent stayed with making only known things about folkloric costumes and accessories;and also he go through the way of increasing our country’s folkloric costume richness with keeping up his occupation of collecting information from every region he could reach,in a researcher mentality,till now.On this occasion he contributed to Anatolian Folklore,furthermore he managed to transform the trade to a hobby. In this busy mannered and colourful life,Atilla Özkan could realized his one more ideal and for to complete his education,which he had put off many years ago because of his economical difficulty,he entered to university exams and he could enter Anatolian University-Open Education Faculty,Management and Organisation Department.He already continues to his education |
